I'd be curious to know more details on the OC computers not booting up, i.e., how long, on average, and did people leave and not vote? Interesting that happened to happen in a conservative part of the state...just call me paranoid. (Grin)

You know what? I am purposely going to buy all my goods that would have a sales tax on them over the county line.

Which speaks really bad news for the Teachers Union then. If the best they can do with all the money they spent, is scant victory, their power is drying up real fast.

Move out of there. I don't understand why you want to live with a bunch of collectivist pacifists who hate everything you stand for.

We plan on it, when we can afford the bigger purchase. We just have a little condo right now.
Where you at?

Counting all the ones and zeros, probably.
Or still trying to figure out which side of the terminal goes into the punch card reader first.

Mendicino County just banned the use of Genetic Engineered products. So, when all the oak trees die due to a disease that they can't cure (because of the ban), don't blame me!

SF Bay Area Measure 2 ~ Yes 57%-43% (2/3rd of vote in)- oh goody, $1 more on toll bridges ('cept GG bridge, they rake in plenty)

"Move out of there. I don't understand why you want to live with a bunch of collectivist pacifists who hate everything you stand for." Remember this: California is always on the cutting edge. California lurched left after Governor Ronald Reagan...now it feels like things are tilting a little starboard.

They're liberals. At least they're taxing themselves.

Good for you...just don't use a toll bridge...looks like an extra buck a trip with Regional Measure 2 passing. {sigh}

And of course, that money is going to aliviate traffic congestion </sarcasm>. And the Golden Gate Bridge...they are making like no money too. Apparently, running their little fleet of empty boats and busses isn't getting them out of debt. Hmmmmm.

Luckily, Contra Costa county is just up at El Cerrito, Richmond. They have a shopping area there that is better, anyway. Not much farther. No bridge.

55 is passing by 50.6 now. Looks like it might be pulling away. Nothing from Orange County yet, and San Diego still has around 13% reporting.
