Tell Phil Angelides why running on a tax increase platform isn't helpful in 2006: two short words - Prop. 56!

I like Roy Ashburn! What's he runnin against Jim Costa for? What position and how's he doing? He's running for Congress in the 20th district. Considering the demographics of the new district I think Costa is the prohibitive favorite in the general. I think Ashburn will hold the race fairly close, but Ashburn would need for Costa to stumble to win.

All that money and so little to show for it... I enjoyed the original Yes on Prop 56 original commercial. It showed the CA legislature goofing off & running around Sacramento wasting taxpayers money & time.
The last thing people wanted to do was give these idiots even more power by reducing the number of votes needed. I noticed the pro-56 people quickly pulled that ad (snicker).

"She's with Bush on all but abortion."
Okay, well that means she's definitely not a fiscal conservative...
So then I look at social issues, like abortion.
Also, Rosario Marin supports using taxpayer money to pay for services for illegal aliens. She opposed prop 187.

Why the heck!!! did Arnold have Grey-out at his house for dinner???? And why did Greta have him on her show. Why not invite Satin over for brunch....

The pro-56 people unintentionally made the case for the opposition why it was a bad idea to trust the morons in Sacramento who've ran this state into the ground over the last couple of years...

13% in and its still trailing... if it doesn't change by the time 50% of the vote's counted, its sunk. People are not in the mood for more borrowing and spending. They already committed $14 billion to get our fiscal house in order.

NONE of the same day votes have been counted in Alameda, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Santa Clara counties. In Marin County, were most of the same day votes have been counted, 55 got 60% plus of the vote, but 56 was losing. Thus we know that 56 will go down. I know 55 will win. It should begin to lead very soon now. Yep, I voted against 55. I voted absentee. My vote has already been counted!

If it starts leading at 25% it better. Otherwise I don't see how it will pull through later.

There is a slight left wing swing as the later votes are counted. But we need to see what happens when the same day votes pour in from the mega counties. I already know what will happen. If I am wrong, it will be embarrassing!
