Again people didn't care about CFR, except conservatives. It was a feel good vote and most voters didn't see it as an assault on the 1st amendment. I know you don't like that, but those are the facts.

No; people didn't care about CFR, except for the far left and the media.

There was no reason to vote for it or sign it. Both were acts of cowardice.

Those are the facts.

Nice to see you openly distinguish yourself from conservatives, though.

Now the AWB ban is different.

Only to those without principles. The relative significance of the First and Second Amendments is not predicated on short-term political expediency.

Hey people didn't, those are the facts. People didn't see it as an assault on the 1st amendment.

But what they show your ignorance of political nuance all you want, that's your right and no one has taken that away.

How, precisely, is a ban on assault weapons a violation of the 2nd Amendment? I'm being serious and sincere in the question, so I'd appreciate a serious and sincere response.

Don't waste your time with Dane. He's one of the several reasons this board should have an 'ignore' feature.

Of course, this is nothing more than your opinion.

And that's a fact! :)
