I didn't post it at the time, loose lips and all the warnings we had, as we were preparing for war. But one day, when my son and I were driving over to the hospital to visit my husband, we pulled to the side of the road and watched a train go by full of choppers, tanks, lorries, all kinds of equipment, it was miles long.
My son asked me where it was going and I told him my best guess what that it was on it's way to Carolina to be shipped overseas. It was an impressive sight.

The reason we don't see awe-inspiring videos on TV is because Republican administrations stink when it comes to PR.
If you've noticed, nothing much AT ALL related to the war that was captured on video has been released to the American public during the past two years. Americans would be thrilled to death and proud to see some of the derring-do and awesome equipment of our troops in action. But there's some kind of schizo thinking going on whereby we're urged to remember we're at war, but we're not allowed to see hardly anything that's happening in the war. Even when it would be inspiring to most people.
I don't buy the canard that ALL war videos released by the Defense Department are being tossed in the ashcan by the media. Some, probably...all, no. Au contraire, I don't feel that letting the public in on war action is high on the administration's priority list for some reason that beats me.
In too many cases, our only opportunity to view any war action is from internet links to grainy videos.
BTW, I couldn't bring up the videos linked here, either. They're evidently on a system incompatible with a lot of our systems. I get almost all videos linked from FR, but not these.

Glad we haven't had any shoot-downs of those choppers in a while. What has made the difference, I wonder. I heard somthing on the radio about a Brittish IR countermeasure, which will be soon fitted out to commercial aircraft.

Great stuff. Looks like a swarm of wasps moving in.
Wouldn't want to see that if I was an Al Qaeda ant.

We will ask God to keep His hand on the shoulder of your brother-in-law. Als, we thank your brother-in-law for his service to our country. God speed to him and to those he will serve beside plus all our military far and wide.

Windows Media Player 9 with a DSL connection here works fine.
I would think it would work on earlier versions too.
Sorry you can't see it...it is impressive!
