The Bushmaster XM-15 used in the Beltway Sniper killings is neither an "assault weapon" nor a "high-powered rifle" nor a "sniper rifle".
These killings could have been accomplished just as easily with grandpa's hunting rifle.
Would have actually been MORE effective had it been a hunting rifle.
