These tapes may getting fairly routine, but in the past some attacks have directly followed the release of tapes, have they not?

"There is increased chatter on the forums, and all indications are that Al Qaeda is getting ready to strike again. I cannot say with all certainty that it will be in the United States, however, intelligence indicates that it will be against a US interest."

True, attacks have followed, but no attacks even approaching the scale advertised. This, IMHO, shows that we are kicking AQ butt! They can't really do anything significant.

This is something I'm starting to say "so what?" to also. How much more can the chatter increase? It's already been said to be higher than ever and this is supposed to be a prediction of a terror attack. From what I can see, I'm sure AQ would like to be able to do something big, but they just can't pull it off. We are kickin' their butt!!
