Coco is here ;-)

He/it is still outside in a plastic bag. Kelloggs did e-mail me back and wants me to call them. I tried this morning but their wait time was too long for me. And, I still have to call the state to see what they say.

On the issue of eating out mentioned on the threads today, I NEVER eat at fast food places or any restaurant that looks dirty. I always check the wait staff, the kitchen (if possible) the bathrooms etc. Needless to say I eat out rarely, feel safer cooking at home. I did eat at the country club with the general's wife last Friday, but that place is spotless so I wasn't worried.

Even without terrorism these filthy looking people that work in some restaurants are just little petri dishes of germs waiting to pass them on to the next unsuspecting patron. E-coli, hepatitis, salmonella, you name it and it's been passed on by workers who have no concept of hygiene.

Now, unsuspecting grocery shoppers that buy cereal expecting it to be edible without horrible looking things in them is another story. It seems to me, as I've said before if that more than ugly thing can come in your cereal anything can be put there. Does anyone want to bet that none of the people working in these plants are checked for any illnesses or even their religious extremist persuasions. If you watch Food Finds on the Food Network, sometimes they show the people packaging the food that is being sent out. That is a very telling thing especially when you see men with hairy arms mixing dough!! Other places look immaculate with people wearing hair nets and gloves etc. I wish we could see inside all these places that provide our food.

Another thing about restaurants we've noticed is that it is very common for the person preparing or serving your food to also handle the cash register. Money is FILTHY. Any number of contaminants are on cash and coins including, but not limited to, illegal drugs of all kinds.

A top scientist for the FBI says the money you're carrying in your wallet is probably contaminated by cocaine.

Thomas Jourdan, chief of materials and devices at the FBI laboratory in Washington, D.C., says 85 percent to 90 percent of the currency in the United States has measurable amounts of cocaine. "A new bill is kind of a wall-to-wall sticky surface in a microscopic sense," Jourdan said. "And over the course of that bill's life, it gets things to adhere to it as well as drugs of abuse."

Everyone's money is likely tainted -- even those who've never seen crack or powder cocaine in their lives.
