I've been victim to the law failing good citizens before.

I've always had Mama Nome to whack me in the head to compare here to what she lived through and to "get over it".

I unfortunately don't have Mama Nome here doing that now, God Bless her.

Than again, if she was here, I wouldn't put it past her to whack the FBI in the head.

Like everything else lately it seems there's denigration of the FBI and law enforcement in general. Crooked police departments, lack of cooperation between FBI and CIA. Your Mama Nome sounds like what they needed a long time ago. Too much corruption (loss of respect) and not enough teeth for the ones who need to bare them.
