February 24, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has dispatched the elite commando force that hunted down Saddam Hussein to Afghanistan for a new operation aimed at getting Osama bin Laden, officials said yesterday. Military sources confirmed that members of the shadowy Task Force 121, the unit that conducted the high-tech search for Saddam and his henchmen, have recently begun operating in the remote mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border where bin Laden and key al Qaeda and Taliban fugitives are believed to be hiding. The Task Force is made up of highly trained Delta and SEAL commandos, as well as CIA paramilitary operators. It operates outside normal military channels.

IAEA finds traces of enriched uranium in Iran

WASHINGTON: The IAEA has found traces of highly enriched uranium in Iran, raising concerns that the country's alleged nuclear weapons program is much more advanced than suspected, The New York Times said Thursday quoting US and European diplomats. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) had previously reported finding "weapons grade" traces of uranium, but had not revealed that some were from uranium refined to 90 percent of the rare 235 isotope. Iran has argued that the traces of highly enriched uranium was from contamination that occurred before imported equipment arrived in the country, the daily said. Iranian officials, the daily added, said they could not trace the origin of the contamination since they imported their equipment from middlemen in five countries.

Just now on Fox, Cavuto reporting that a letter to Al Quds claims that an attack on the US is 90% ready.

Neil Cavuto on Fox states that al Quds (Arabic newspaper in London) is reporting that al Qaeda claims the hit on the U.S. is 90% ready....

Well I still remember the students who knew something before 911. While I don't give it extremly important weight, The writting on the bathroom wall indicating something for 3/13/04 is something to wonder about. It could have been written by an SOA (Son of AQ) who knows something.

Why would he do that? I don't think it's a good idea to underestimate them - especially since this is coming on the heels of the Zawahiri tape

well, regardless of whether that is true, you knew they were going to say that.

in any case, they should raise the US terror threat level now. and all of the peopel the FBI claims are being "watched", should be rounded up now for interrogation.

I don't think they will try for an evening, for some reason. AM rush seems more likely. They are deadly serious and they seek major destruction of NYC and DC (among other cities).
