February 24, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has dispatched the elite commando force that hunted down Saddam Hussein to Afghanistan for a new operation aimed at getting Osama bin Laden, officials said yesterday. Military sources confirmed that members of the shadowy Task Force 121, the unit that conducted the high-tech search for Saddam and his henchmen, have recently begun operating in the remote mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border where bin Laden and key al Qaeda and Taliban fugitives are believed to be hiding. The Task Force is made up of highly trained Delta and SEAL commandos, as well as CIA paramilitary operators. It operates outside normal military channels.

"The two main gases are carbon dioxide and sulfer dioxide. "

==

The volcanic gases are a plausible theory.

But obviously CO2 doesn't cause paralyis, all everyone on earth would be paralyzed, since the air we breathe has 0.03% CO2

Doesn't sound like sulphur dioxide causes it either.

The major health concerns associated with exposure to high concentrations of sulphur dioxide include effects on breathing, respiratory illness, alterations in pulmonary defenses, and aggravation of existing cardiovascular disease. In the atmosphere, sulphur dioxide mixes with water vapour producing sulphuric acid. This acidic pollution can be transported by wind over many hundreds of miles, and deposited as acid rain.

http://www.doc.mmu.ac.uk/aric/eae/Acid_Rain/Older/Sulphur_Dioxide.html

BUT there could be some small amount of other toxic gas, which could attack the nervous system, causing paralysis -- I think the track you are on should be explored, and I hope the investigators are looking into it.

Oh MY!!

Then this!!!!

Iran threatens to end cooperation with IAEA

article snippet:

For his part, President Muhammad Khatami spoke of a mystery "event" relating to the nuclear issue and said he had to immediately talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin. "An event is foreseen, and I have to immediately negotiate with President Putin," he said, only adding that this even concerned the IAEA meeting.

This is seriously bad juju

I am sorry I forgot what thread I posted this to. Someone posted a link to support/protest some position on an online web form that auto sends to all of the representatives in Congress, so I don't have a record of my original email. Here is the response:

Many thanks for taking the time to contact my office to support the position I have taken regarding certain Muslim leaders in this country.

It is very reassuring to know that I have good people like you standing with me. If we are to prevail in the war against international terrorism, all Americans must stand as one.

All the best.

Sincerely,

PETER T. KING
Member of Congress

P.S. Please find enclosed my recent letter to Newsday which further details my position.

King's defense
Reading Dr. Faroque Khan's letter just adds to my disappointment with the leadership of the Long Island Islamic Center. As he acknowledges, I had a close relationship with him and other leaders at the Westbury mosque. I also took many stands in defense of oppressed Muslims - such as my politically unpopular support of President Bill Clinton's military interventions in Bosnia and Kosovo. In the days after 9/11, I made numerous television and radio appearances defending the American Muslim community.

I was, however, dismayed in the weeks following Sept. 11, when Ghazi Khankan, the interfaith director of the Islamic Center, made outrageous and indefensible statements such as that Mohammed Atta and other alleged hijackers were alive, that Atta's passport had been stolen, that the 9/11 attacks were not caused by Muslims and Arabs, and that the media should investigate the "world Zionist network." At a time when funerals and memorial services were being held for hundreds of innocent Long Islanders who were murdered by Atta and his henchmen, not one leader at the mosque - including Dr. Khan - objected to these remarks. Ghazi Khankan still holds his position and is the mosque's most visible public spokesman.

I believe that the overwhelming majority of Muslim Americans are loyal and patriotic. It is their leadership that is failing them. Indeed, in a State Department speech in 1999, Muhammad Hisham Kabbani of the Islamic Supreme Council of America said that extremists had taken over "more than 80 percent" of U.S. mosques. I find it sad that I must raise these issues. But the stakes are too high to do otherwise.

Rep. Peter King (R-Seaford)
Washington

Re. the paralyzed elk:

I was doing a bit of Google search and found that pesticides, specifically organophosphates, can cause paralysis.

"In some cases organophosphates can be stored in fat cells for prolonged periods. Neurotoxicity in this case can cause weakness, paralysis, paraesthesia of the extremities predominantly of the legs -- persisting for weeks to years."

And then there is this

Yellowstone Caldera: Set Up By A "New" and Incredibly Powerful Terrorist Weapon of Mass Destruction

Date: Sun, 8 Feb 2004 00:39:54 -0600

Below is an article on a possible indicator of a most serious strategic potentiality, since it involves a new kind of "weapons of mass destruction" (WMD) strategic threat to the United States (and to the entire Western world) as potent as an all-out nuclear strike from Russia with the Russians firing everything they've got. The actual weapon to be used is an old weapon developed and deployed in the early 1960s, but with a novel application.

From the article, it seems something odd may be going on vis a vis quake reporting also. If this report is true, then the U.S. may have deliberately refrained from reporting a fairly large quake near the super caldera associated with Yellowstone.

If you wish to read the article in its entirety, please click on the link above.

In Wellton, during the mid 1970's, many of the townspeople got a headache, just all of a sudden and it was so bad that you didn't care if you were alive or dead.

I worked at the Courthouse and it set on a knoll.

One of the clerks lived a half block away and her 10 year old daughter got the first one (that I knew of) on Sunday.

By Monday afternoon it had us all, even the Judge.

None of us ever knew what caused it or had it again.

We knew that lots of things were tested there. It did not seem to be a chemical.

We almost closed the court, took turns of a half day, it was that bad. If we had been on the battle front, we would not have been able to fight.

Our local doctor was a retired army doctor and I have been told that he wound up in Wellton, so he could file military reports on what illnesses the town had. He liked it and stayed until he died as an old man.

I worked on a map for the gov, about that time and once talked to the #2 man from one of the bases, he warned me not to go in certain areas, even if they were opened (they were not) to mining, as in WW2 germ warfare had been tested there.

One of several reasons that I left Wellton.

About 6 or so years ago a lady phoned Art Bell and told him that she had read in the Reno, NV paper that they were testing some type of machine in a semi-truck and that they wanted to know of any changes in the folks health.

Art told her that he needed a copy of the article, and I heard Art when he thanked her a few days later, as she had sent him the actual newspaper.

I don't recall if the paper used the word "Haarp", but do know that is the impression that I got from the story.

Yes, Granny has seen the "Black Helicopters", in the air searching and on the ground at the Bullhead City Airport, with a man spread eagled on the ground............

I have also watched my sky turn white and clouds form, (sorry the term escapes me) as the plane (one or two) flies a pattern, to cover the sky. Not high and not low, mid level.

Yes, I have seen the planes high up cross the sky and leave a vapor trail, the two are not the same.

I live in an 18 mile by 100 mile valley, with no airports and other than the normal flights to Calif. do not have plane traffic here, except for the Mercy flight helicopter that flies directly over my house to the hospital in Kingman.

FEBRUARY 6????

That was the date of last month's full moon.

I am always on my personal red alert when there is a full moon.

What was happening on Feb 6:
1. Al Jazzera was refusing to air the full OBL tape
2. Al Qaeda in Yemen announced an imminent strike within the US
3. Moscow subway blast kills 39, wounds 130
4. Mystery truck stopped in Georgia
5. 7.1 quake in Indonesia
6. Kindergarden pearls and Volcano message

Russia has been giving nuclear stuff to Iran, despite the of the request of the US.

Maybe Putin finally decided to stop doing it, and that's why the Iranian pres was upset and wanted to talk with him immediately -- or perhaps something went wrong with their nuclear program and ended up with nuclear contamination, which they don't want to admit to the rest of the world.

Yup, Feb. 6.

I think the things you listed are what prompted the poster on TB2000 to speculate that this event was a detonation of a nuke underground by AQ.

Seems out there, but I'm not sure about anything anymore.

There's no way this could have been a nuke detonated by AQ, is there?

Good for you, hope the man is checked out.

I am tired so have only half my brain working, but I think it was another Freeper that suggested, when you found someone looking at porn in the library, that you climb on a chair and start yelling.

Maybe something along the line of "LOOK, HE IS INSULTING ME BY LOOKING AT PORN!!!"

or "LOOK AT THAT! IT IS SEXUAL HARRASEMENT!!!!!"

I do think that I might be able to pull it off.

Then would more than likely fall off the chair and break something.

I think he said we did win the vote, 36 to 15.

From the article I posted, it appears Iran is going to end cooperation with the IAEA. I think Loftus said the same thing.

They may be able to force the USGS to remove seismogram data but not every college in the country. They record everything and keep a log.

Berkley CA seismogram 2/07/04

I'll check for others.
