Eat Steak
by The Reverend Horton Heat
Eat steak, eat steak eat a big ol' steer
Eat steak, eat steak do we have one dear?
Eat beef, eat beef it's a mighty good food
It's a grade A meal when I'm in the mood.
Cowpokes'll come from a near and far
When you throw a few rib-eyes on the fire
Roberto Duran ate two before a fight
'Cause it gave a lot of mighty men a lot of mighty might
Eat steak, eat steak eat a big ol' steer
Eat steak, eat steak do we have one dear?
Eat beef, eat beef it's a mighty good food
It's a grade A meal when I'm in the mood.
Eat meat, eat meat, filet mignon
Eat meat, eat meat, ear it all day long
Eat a few T-bones till you get your fill
Eat a new york cut, hot off the grill
Eat steak, eat steak eat a big ol' steer
Eat steak, eat steak do we have one dear?
Eat beef, eat beef it's a mighty good food
It's a grade A meal when I'm in the mood.
Eat a cow, eat a cow 'cuase it's good for you
Eat a cow, eat a cow it's the thing that goes "Mooooo"
Look at all the cows in the slaughterhouse yard
Gotta hit'em in the head, gotta hit'em real hard
First you gotta clean'em then the butcher cuts'em up
Throws it on a scale throws an eyeball in a cup
Saw a big Brangus Steer standing right over there
So I rustled up a fire cooked him medium rare
Bar-B-Q'ed his brisket, a roasted his rump
Fed my dog that ol' Brangus Steer's hump
Eat steak, eat steak eat a big ol' steer
Eat steak, eat steak do we have one dear?
Eat beef, eat beef it's a mighty good food
It's a grade A meal when I'm in the mood.

Ya gotta love the Reverend! Austin bands do know their meat, as Central Texas is home to the best BBQ in the country... Stubbs, Kruez's Market, The Salt Lick. and let's not forget Slaughter Lane.
Now I'm drooling.

HEY! take it easy on those vegetables.
Veggies are good food. Especially when they're properly processed into rabbit, or venison, or lamb, or veal or beef or pork or chicken or.. Excuse me. I've got to go get something to eat

The word "kill" in place names in the N.E. usually means "stream".I'm thinking it's Dutch but could be wrong.

anyone, including the residents of Slaughterville, who is eating meat, is supporting the felony level of abuse of animals," he said. In what country is meat eating against the law? The Green Republic of Soylent? Let's exile all the PETA folk there ASAP.

In this case, the surname can be traded to the town of Slaughter in Gloucester. During the Middle Ages natives frequently adopted their family names from their town of origin, as there was no structured system of hereditary surnames in existence. This surname can also derive form the Old English word slohtre, meaning a muddy place. Hence the surname would come to denote a dweller near a muddy place. Actually that's only one origin of name
Lower Slaughter
Upper and Lower Slaughter are two of the most photographed tourist spots in the Cotswolds. The slough (or marsh) from which the village derives its name has been tidied up so that the river Eye flows between grassy banks and picturesque cottages beneath a series of simple stone bridges.
PETA are idjits!

The name Slaughter can also be derived from laughter, previously having a leading apostrophe, as in 'slaughter, which is a further diminution of "it's laughter."</kidding>

Hey now! ... I'm no bigot. some of my best friends parse their words. But if you don't like the curt nature of my descriptive...'imbecile', let me expand that by saying that P.E.T.A represents a coalition of naive, short-sided, narrow-minded, angry, statist, knee-jerks that prostitute animals to serve their political ambitions and subject free individuals and choices to the will of their collective world view.
LOL! Thank you for the original link, Dueler, my friend. We should hear more from you.

If I were the town manger, I'd ask: if we change the name from "Slaughterville" to "Bush" would you still offer the reward, and if you do, could we get it in cash instead of Soylent Brown?
