Liberal Universities exist today to allow people who have the money to pay for an education but do not have the intelligence to actually assimilate or even comprehend said education to buy a diploma.

Without reading the article, I can tell you why academia is leftist. Ever see a professor work? In what other employ can a worker ask his employer to hire graduate students to "assist" the employee in fulfilling his duties?
In what other employ can a worker take paid leave to write a text book, one that he then forces students to purchase to attend his class?
In what other employ do white collar employees get "tenure" and are guaranteed a job for life regardless of performance?
In what other employ does a worker get to send his kids to college tuition free?

Most of these were from conservative professors, students, and parents who feel besieged and were gratified to read something that takes their concerns seriously. But there were also some objections, to which I'd like to respond. Some of these were serious. Some were not at all serious -- despite their having been made by people who evidently take themselves pretty seriously. The Professors Weigh In To take the latter... |

For improved accuracy, the word "Dominated" in the headline needs to be changed to "Infested".
