Note the layered rock in the center of the image.

If this is a game of "Rorschach", I, personally see an image of neanderthal man or piltdown man.
See the eye, then the ear and the square jaw. Surely proves that life once existed there, LOL.

Yes, but blueberry muffin? More like a biscuit. Or puff pastry.
So what does this (potentially) mean? Sedimentary rock, therefore...water laying down sediments over time?

I see a decomposition pattern unlike any basalt yet found at Viking 1&2, Pathfinder or Gusev. And Gusev is half a planet away from Meridiani.
Lacrustine deposit ejected from a nearby crater?

I put that there to confuse and confound them. Just wait til they find the 1954 Alabama car tag.

I, personally see an image of neanderthal man or piltdown man. Not sure that I'm seeing the same thing you are, but the smallish rock just below the top and near the center contains an facial image as good as the infamous "face on Mars!"

I put that there to confuse and confound them. Just wait til they find the 1954 Alabama car tag. Sir, please look right here. [FLASH</i] Thanks for your time, citizen. You saw nothing here.
