Agreed, as much as I hate to give this guy a free pass. I remained silent in the last thread because, after reading Ann's story, I went and did some research on Cleland. Turns out, the man volunteered to serve his country in Vietnam, a fact Ann leaves out.
You've convinced me. The facts that he volunteered & is handicapped should allow Mr. Cleland to mock men and women who were in the National Guard as "weekend warriors".
Now that I think of it, since Mr. Cleland was a Senator, and therefore better than average American voter, his vote in the next election should be worth ar least 10,000 or 20,000 "regular" votes.
