Well from his profile page .. he states
I'm an extreme social liberal and extreme fiscal conservative. I like the Democrats' philosophical stands on most social issues, but cannot stand their desire to turn every facet of your life into a project for the government. I like Republican ideas on the economy, but find most of their social agenda hypocritical and outdated.
