"If you mention Jane Fonda's name to a Vietnam veteran, it's a lightning-rod reaction," I think it'll be mentioned at lot. ;-) Thanks kat!

Mr. Kerry's protesting "saved more lives than not," he added. The Big Lie.
They hope nobody will remember the slaughter of the Montagnards and the killing fields of Cambodia.
Or perhaps they prefer not to count those murdered by the communists they so loudly supported...

"It was posted Monday on the NewsMax.com Web site." Didn't Free Republic and Hillary's Lovely Legs find it?

It is becoming increasingly irksome that FreeRepublic is not credited for unearthing this photograph.

I sent it to 10 friends via e-mail today.
Most were shocked that Kerry was an anti-war demonstrator. Obviously, I have to give more of a description of his anti war activities on the second round of e-mails.
Hanoi Jane is, without a doubt, the most hated person a Viet Nam vet could have.

Good, I suspect they were closer than this. Kerry is a starf*cker, he managed to get a picture with him and John Lennon at a protest. It's somewhere on microfiche. Every freeper should commit themselves to finding the pictures that we know exist. I want a side by side, the two traitors.

If those protests gave the Vietnamese encouragement and led them to hold out until 1975 rather than give up earlier, then Kerry is partially responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands - besides the wounded guy our "brave hero" finished off.

The photograph, taken at a Labor Day rally at Valley Forge, has been circulating across the Internet, particularly among veterans. It was posted Monday on the NewsMax.com Web site. Newsmax got the photo from Free Republic. I believe it was Hillarys Lovely Legs who found it at Corbis and posted it. Too bad someone else gets the credit.

Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham, California Republican, said yesterday, "it diminishes the service some of us almost gave our lives for, and the over 56,000 people that lost their lives it slaps their families in the face."
About 6,000 of those were National Guard and reserves.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1075731/posts John Kerry: Shredding documents and abandoning veterans
"Kerry's actions in Vietnam were heroic, but his actions upon his return were inexcusable. Kerry associated with the Vietnam Veterans Against the War, a rabid anti-war group that defamed United States soldiers and often protested under the banner of the Viet Cong.
Normalization for Vietnam passed overwhelmingly in the Senate, largely due to Kerry's persistence. Kerry's pro-normalization views seem particularly strong when viewed in comparison with Kerry's other foreign-policy positions. Kerry has flip-flopped repeatedly on the war in Iraq, but his support for the Vietnamese government has been unwavering. According to Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby, in 2002 Kerry blocked the Vietnam Human Rights Act from coming to a vote.
Is John Kerry committed to Vietnam veterans? Perhaps the ones back in the United States. But for the Vietnam soldiers who died because Kerry provided aid and comfort to the Viet Cong, or the POWs who may have lived out their lives in cages, Kerry's lack of commitment had tragic consequences.

Mr. Kerry testified in 1971 before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, however, citing accusations that American soldiers in Vietnam routinely committed atrocities such as beheadings, killing children and razing villages. He did not present evidence of these claims. He crucified his comrades for political gain.

Mr. Kerry's protesting "saved more lives than not," he added. No, it demoralized the fine soldiers still fighting the war, and caused people to spit on them when they returned. Nice going, Kerry - NOT!!!!

"A young Kerry, however, broke faith with his brothers when he returned to the United States. With the financial aid of Jane Fonda, he led highly visible protests against the war. He wrote a book that many considered to be pro-Hanoi, titled "The New Soldier."Terry Garlock:(Kerry's) Vietnam stance irks veterans
Someone should dig into this -- Fonda was paying for the protests, which Kerry organized. There is clearly a much stronger tie between them, then just "accidentally" being at the same protest.
Is Kerry a Manchurian Candidate?
