What right do you have calling Canadians cowards. Why would you say Canadians hate Americans, when 911 happened, Canada landed lots of US passenger jets that you wouldn't land.
How may of these passengers were taken into Canadian homes and taken care of like family?.There were a lot of Canadians killed in 911. There were millions of $$$ sent to the first responders fund.
It is sad that two countries, who are each others largest trading partners, have not had a gun on 5000 miles of border for years, cannot get over this childish bickering of what we think of you. From this board I would say the hate comes a lot more from S. to N., than from N.to S.
We fought side by side from 1939 to 1945.
We have got to be more positive with each other.

We share the same Mother country, so to speak. It is true, we have a thousands mile long border, that for all intents is unprotected. That's a tribute to both the USA and Canada and how we view each other. While we share so much, we will have differences. Americans see so many foreign leaders and high profile speakers taking issue with much of what we do and think. It's offensive to have our closest and dearest neighbor join the chorus. So, it's natural to straightaway say, "off with you, eh."
Deep down in our hearts, though, we'd die to defend you and Canada, should she ever become a victim of disaster or external aggression.
Now....what the heck is wrong with those Quebecois????
