Why would we capture OBL months earlier and then claim to the media he's been captured months later? OBL would sing like a canary to the Red Cross workers that he's been held for months and the idea that the news was delayed would backfire if used for election purposes. Only if he was brought out dead would that ploy work.

I have no earthly idea. That seems to be the story some folks are spreading though.

You're assuming the Red Cross workers would see him.

Watch "Manchurian Candidate." And that was 40 years ago.

I pray Bush has this orchestrated perfectly. I don't care where OBL is or what's happening to him. I want a convincing display of American justice for 3,000 dead Americans.

Then I want Bush re-elected so my kids don't spend the next four years under the thumb of the democrats.

Quetta = location stated in the Sunday Telegraph article of the surrounding of Osama bin Laden.

Two Bombs Explode in Southwest Pakistan Pakistan Times Monitoring Desk

QUETTA: Two bombs exploded in a residential neighborhood in southwestern Pakistan, but no injuries were reported, a foreign news agency quotes police as saying Saturday.

The explosions occurred late Friday in Quetta, the capital of southwestern Baluchistan province, said Aziz Ullah, a local police official.

Nobody has claimed responsibility for the episode. The motive behind the incident is also not clear.

The news agency says that a bomb exploded near a police station in Quetta on Jan-19. Another blew up under a tractor at a road construction project in Kohlu, 220 miles east of Quetta on Jan-25. Neither blast caused any injuries.

the Red Cross would NEVER see OBL, perhaps only visually, not voice contact.

Recall what Mansoor Ijaz (not that he is any great predictor mind you!) said last week: the only reason Pakistan is allowing this "offensive" that is being written up in all these newspapers, is because they know OBL isn't there. So how about this for a theory (I'm not saying I believe this)

- we captur(ed) OBL in Iran, but we'll claim we captured him in Afghnistan when the time is right. Perez will have done nothing, but can claim that his forces drove OBL out of Pakistan. The US is not forced into any immediate action against Iran, since AQ isn't there according to this script.

OK, who buys this?
