They have been determined since the early 90s to wipe us and Israel off the face of the earth.Actually it was the 70's that this latest round of jihad started, though it has run in cycles throughout islamic history. Iranian hostage crises, hostage takings, airport bombings and shootings, hijacking of airlines and cruise ships, bombings of disco's in Europe, airplanes, embassys, and army barraks. It was because of islam that I first noticed politics when a kid (Carter), and later took time to study the religion. Whether Sunni or Shiite the basic teachings are the same...Kill them all if they do not convert, world domination of the religion.
The West has had to defend ourselves at various times from islam. Some of our worst historical moments have come from defending ourselves from islam, because the only way to get them to retreat and stop the fighting for a while is to scare them so badly that they are afraid of total anilation and horrific death (Count Dracule, etc.) or to kick every last muslim out of a country or region (Spain...).

February 6, 2004 - If you have seen signs for the Muslim Student Association on college campuses and wondered who they are, where they came from and whether they exist on student fees alone, you are not alone. Federal investigators are curious too.

U.S. soccer team to play for Olympic spot in Guadalajara
Things could get ugly in Guadalajara tomorrow when the U.S. soccer team plays Mexico for Olympic qualification.
Last Thursday, when the U.S. played Canada in a qualifying round in Zapopan before 1,500 Mexicans, the crowd hooted "The Star-Spangled Banner," it booed U.S. goals. And it chanted "Osama! Osama! Osama" as the American players left the field with a 2-0 victory.
