Police close New Haven street, tunnel

(New Haven-WTNH, Feb. 11, 2004 8:27 AM) _ New Haven Police have closed Orange Street and the Pitkin Tunnel after something suspicious was found.

The bomb squad is investigating something at the Federal Building. They won't say what was found or specifically where.

The tunnel has been the focus of security concerns since the 9/11 attack, and has been the focus of several News Channel 8 investigations. There have been changes made to increase security.

Threat Matrix Daily Terror Thread

Intro:
The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."
