GOSS: I think Pat has said it exactly right. I think it was very serious.
But I would also say that this has been an intelligence success. And as the days come along, you will be seeing more about this, I suspect.
WALLACE: Meaning what?
GOSS: Meaning that a lot of what you're reading now has not been a surprise to our intelligence community.
WALLACE: That they knew that Dr. Khan...
GOSS: We have had good information for some time on how this has all proceeded. I cannot get into the specifics of it until it's released by the administration. But I can tell you, absolutely for a certainty, that the people who are briefed on these things have been kept properly informed, and this has been a good-news story for some time.
