Actually, I have had a lot of awe-inspiring experiences in my life. For a while I thought I was really losing it, until I recently spoke to my Grand-Aunt and found out such things are common in our family. It's just usually taken for granted or not talked about. For obvious reasons. Like, how everyone will think I'm nuts now.
