Take a closer look at the picture you posted. There appears to be a collar on the poncho. Not a Kid Rock fan but don't want someone to get blamed for disrespect he didn't intend.

According to 36 USC 10, Section 176, when wearing the United States Flag as a poncho, the Union of the flag should be over the wearer's right.
As you can see, Kid Rock has the flag with the Union over his left. I don't know who they have at the NFL keeping track of this stuff, but he really fell down on the job on this one...
