I have a 20" Sharp LCD on my desk to the left of the computer. Action sports (foose ball, Nascar etc is not real sharp. It's a thing they call smearing and that pretty well describes it. I'm on Cox Cable and they have been out twice to check the signal and it is as good as they can make it with the system they are running. My 36" Sony CRT is much better...

Sometimes when I'm bored, I'll type the names of things I remember from my past into a search engine and I'm always amazed with what I come up with.Dilly Dally, Flub-a-Dub

That's how I get lost, type an adjective in Google Image Search or something similarly silly. An artist, it stretches me creatively.
How amazing the Internet is, if all our stories could be published, it would surely fill millions of CDs.
If you remember John Gnagy's show, Learning to Draw, I was able to buy his kit just two years ago. The Net is lightyears from when his show ran in the '50s.

don't forget: "You move your feet, you lose your seat". True, true. Large bladders have a distinct advantage for today's game. No saving seats, no tapbacks, and no leaving coats or gloves on seats either. And the "command chair" (mine) is off-limits (but its so old nobody would WANT to sit in it).

Browns/Steelers? Many of us in Mass. think TV was so long ago they saw the Sox win the World Series, but it was just Jack Benny fooling around.

Punxzutawney Phil......Rita: I think it's a NICE story. He comes out. He looks around. He wrinkles up his little nose. He sees his shadow, he doesn't see his shadow. It's nice. People like it.
....... RITA: You're missing all the fun. These people are great! Some of them have been partying all night long. They sing songs til they get too cold and then they go sit by the fire and get warm and then they come back and sing some more.
...... PHIL: Yeah, they're HICKS Rita.
PHIL: (on the phone) Come on, ALL the long-distance lines are down? .. What about the satellite? Is it snowing in space? .. Don't you have some kind of a line that you keep open for emergencies or for celebrities? .. I'm both! I'm a CELEBRITY in an EMERGENCY.
....... RITA: Phil, you going to the Groundhog Dinner?
PHIL: No, I had groundhog for lunch. Wasn't bad, tastes like chicken.

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude.
I can assure them, it is much more serious than that.

Unless your team is losing - some consider it mandatory to change seats.

Hey, what's the official time before a Super Bowl that you're allowed to start drinking beer, and not be called a lousy drunk?

wow. all that mass tv talk...reminded me of Tony Pepper, Don Kent, Dale Dorman, Dick Flavin-at-large, The Ghoul...4th of July, picking blueberries, sledding, plowing snow in my father's truck, catching brooktrout in Wayland, the Sudbury River, the Incinerator, WVBF (stereo one-oh-five)....stop me quick!

You should have won last year.
"The Curse of The Bambino" reinvigorated itself when Pedro pulled the charging Popeye to the ground! 'The Curse' buried you against the Marlins. ;)

I just talked on the net with my friend in Melbourne, Australia. It's almost 6:00 AM Monday there so the game is already over.
His morning newspaper just arrived. He looked in the sports section and said the Patriots win 32-13.

I've been saying it for awhile now, but until proven otherwise, don't ever, ever bet against The Kid, Brady. He just doesn't lose. Tonight it will be 15 straight, 20-7.
I just think you'd be nuts to bet against Brady and Belichick at this point. Stephen Davis will get stifled, and Jake Delhomme will fall apart as he is forced to throw and throw. 3 picks at least.
