Wesley Clark pledged Saturday to "get our balance right" by stemming illegal immigration while allowing immigrants to earn citizenship over time.

Appearing in this military community near the border with Mexico, the retired general said, "We are going to control our borders, going to work with the government of Mexico to stem what's going on down there because we have to."

Clark is going to:

1) Make sure there are no more terrorist attacks against the United States

2) Solve the illegal immigrant problem

And, oh what the heck, why not:

3) Establish world peace

4) A chicken in every pot (no, come to think of it, save the chickens - let's put everyone on a vegan diet)

5) Save the environment

6) Save the economy

Details to come later.

That's right ...all chicken farmers in Arkie-land are being sent to Oklahoma. Only native born, cat-fish eating DEMO-rats will be allowed to populate the state. The new capital will be Hope, Arkansas.

Sometimes you gotta be a little nutty to move to South Florida like I did not long ago with my daughter and her new hubby. Traffic is horrid and there is strip mall on every corner. But, neither you or I, are nutty enough to vote for that "hero" of Kosovo Albanians... clark.

Citizenship means you are eligible for the draft and jury duty. Who wants time off from earning the big bucks.....to them?

Bwahahahahaha!!!!

In November I had to fly to Cincinnati to perform checks on a Charter aircraft and it turned out that the charter was for M. Moore for his book tour. He had to leave the luxury of his chartered aircraft (it was nice, and is owned by B. Dylan now) and fly commercial for the next leg of his tour.

The flight crew were NOT impressed with him at all, politically OR personally!....I can't imagine why!

Now don't hit me with that dreaded TMI again!! LoL's!

Too bad it did not come from the Republican side first.

This is exactly like Bush's proposal, except he wants to go further than Bush by allowing citizenship to be extended. Remember the Democrats were saying "Bush didn't go far enough"? Well, Weasel is a Democrat. Bush has now won this debate.

Here's more:

Wesley Clark: Opposes Local Law Enforcement Cooperation -- "Clark said he opposes involving local police in enforcement of immigration law." — Jon Kamman,"Clark Likes McCain Migrant Plan," Arizona Republic, November 11, 2003.

Wesley Clark: Supports In-State Tuition for Illegal Aliens "I also support the DREAM Act, which would provide access to college for undocumented young people who have spent their formative years here and who have worked their way through high school." [The DREAM Act would grant amnesty to college-bound illegal aliens and repeal federal law barring illegal aliens from benefiting from in-state tuition at taxpayer-funded universities and colleges.] — Wesley Clark, "General Wesley Clark's Agenda for Hispanics and Latinos," position paper, Americans for Clark.

Wesley Clark: Supports Amnesty For those undocumented aliens that are here, for those that have been good citizens that hold responsible jobs, I think we ought to have a procedure where they can work their way into citizenship…Well, I'm saying that you need a program where people who are here and lack the documentation can one way or another work their way into citizenship. It's not a general amnesty. It's dependent on their performance and what kind of citizens they'll be." — Wesley Clark, interview, Lou Dobbs Tonight, CNN, October 27, 2003.

Wesley Clark: Opposes Reduction in Legal Immigration Levels Wesley Clark answered a VoteMatch survey question about immigration, "It helps our economy—encourage it." — Wesley Clark, VoteMatch questionnaire, 2003

Ah, so Clark's real criticism is that Bush failed to deliver on amnesty to the Mexican Govt, and he Clark, would do so.

Geesh!

How thick is the ice these days anyway? Man, I miss ice fishing .. and drinking beer ... and listening to the wind blow across the frozen lake...

I don't miss it, I'm just stuck with it!

The Ice is approaching 3' up North and is 2 to 2 1/2 in the south (MPLS

) So who do you think will win Minniesoda and Wisconsin primary-wise?

Minniesoda? Watch it buster!

With Pawlenty as Governor in Minnesota, and he IS popular, Norm Coleman as Senator, I see a good chance of Dubya taking MN and as an extra benefit, seeing M. Dayton being ousted from serving a second term.(that depends upon who is available to run against him)

All in all, Minnesota HAS performed fabulously in foreseeing the deficit demise and we, financially, are sound.

It gives a great feeling to a MN lifer that "Socialism" has to finally, NOW show their political reason and back it up. We are making headway, thanks to Tim Pawlenty and Norm Coleman!

The head of the Democratic Party in Lacrosse, WI, Helen Kelly, put Hillary officially on the WI primary ballot yesterday. It was on the local talk radio station. I didn't hear the part about write-ins.

Wisconsin, w/Madison and the metastasized leftist enclaves w/in about 100 miles thereof, will give Hillary a good idea of her base on the left. IMO

Clark, seeking the Democratic Party presidential nomination, told a gathering of about 300 hundred supporters.

That comes out to...thirty thousand. Oopsie.
