There must be thousands of sermons preached during the Haj. Westerners don't even get to hear most of them. Most of these events are considered sacred, Mecca and Mount Arafat and similar areas are off limits, and only Muslims are permitted to hear or witness what goes on.
Even at that, some of the Muslims' real beliefs get through to the outside world, just as not even Stalin was able to hide everything that went on inside the Soviet Union. AP could have publicized that other sermon, posted here earlier today, which called upon Allah to help believers kill the Infidels and the Jews.
We all know that Muslims consider it a virtue to speak out of of both sides of their mouths--to strangers and among themselves--and lie to the infidels if it helps further the work of Allah. But leave it to the American news agencies to further the Muslim cause.

AP could have publicized that other sermon, posted here earlier today, which called upon Allah to help believers kill the Infidels and the Jews. If you're referring to the article titled "Muslim Faithful Hear Wrathful Prayer", that was an AP story.
