Bush is the son of the elitest Bush family, he did what a lot of elitest sons did, joined the national guard. (National guard tickets were very hard to get during Vietnam.) So what, it is not a big deal. The election will not turn on Bush's honorable service record. It is a non-issue. Now his record as president is a much bigger problem. If I were you I would be thinking real hard on how can Bush win back the many, many conservatives that are currently ripping him to pieces in newspapers all acrross the country.
