My son and his new wife live in Portland. You might say that he's not polically correct. Every time he see Somalis on the street he mutters"Black Hawk Down". His wife who is a graduate of Harvard,need I say more,(We adore her)is mortified.

Well, I live in northern Maine and have following this story for a long time. Especially where Baldacci is concerned.

What little news I get way up here, Portland and Lewiston are a mess with these people.

Last I heard, only 40 Somali's out of 1,200 have jobs. The rest are on welfare. The state is subsidizing them with money to live here.

They are raping our shelters of everything available. And they get there first before our own homeless have time to go and pick out what "they" need.

I'm just very suspicious is all. I don't like what I hear.

I seem to remember reading not too long ago that Maine has the most "attractive" welfare programs in the country. Is this true? If it is, you can expect to see a growing problem up there with illegals.

There is a church here in Nashville that solicits the congregation for the donation of their excess cars, writes a receipt for the IRS and then brings them to my neighbor to correct problems so that they can be used; all these cars are then given to the Somalis (mostly young men) to use to ostensibly find and travel to a job.

Almost none of these "boys" have ever driven a car before and most of them are in excess of 6'5" tall, so they make quite a sight tooling the roads of middle Tennessee in a little Subaru at speeds that would frustrate the bluest-haired lady you've ever met.
