Well, Moldy, you aren't worth my mediocre. Fact is, you're lying , ranting DU troll at best and at worst, you're simply a sad excuse for an adult.Your rants are adolescent at best, your logic childish and frankly, you are not quick enough to realize your time is past. Go away. You are an oxygen thief as are the rest of your ilk. You know it, I know it and so does anyone with higher than a room temperature IQ. By all means, go do whatever it is you do between mallomars , but as for further dialogue, we're finished. I have never enjoyed being lectured, badly, by an inferior being and frankly, you're right alongside a toaster on the evolutionary scale.

From your profile:

Take heart, most Feds outside California and the Northeast are NOT Liberals.

Are you a Fed?

That would explain a lot.

I'm not sure, by your response, that you do in fact "know exactly what I was doing". If you go back and re-read my post, you will see that I was lampooning the fact that the FedGov was debating spending an additional $20M on the NEA (I will avoid comment on their merit/usefuleness) while IMO the $20M could be better spent supporting much more important under-funded national security concerns such as border security or airline security. I have read articles where the agencies in both areas have citing under-funding as a cause for lack of improvement.

To me this is very serious business. IMO we should cancel ALL non-defense/security spending until these areas have been adequately funded. You seemed to be making an argument about whether or not taxes should be raised to support either area or tradeoffs between taxes and spending between competing Democrat programs, thus sacrificing children to the greedy. OF COURSE that is what THEY SAY when they are trying to create fear about reducing ANY social spending program. But that wasn't my point at all. I suggest you go back and really read my posts.

BTW, sorry for imugning your intelligence, and thanks for taking the time to post and discuss these issues. I enjoy learning from the comments of folks like you who are willing to share their knowledge and experiences.

Tom

NEA budget still below the 1992 level of funding, from what I hear. What's the big deal?

So why call them marxists when they are anti-marxists??!? (David Horowitz comes to mind). That comment is unfounded hogwash.

Is it? Then why does Horowitz, as just one example, have homosexualist Tammy Bruce front and center in his line up?

Or is the homosexualist agenda of Tammy Bruce and, say, Andrew Sullivan at NR part of a big tent you can feel comfortable bringing you children?

Please respond to this, I really want to understand.

Cut him some slack. Of course he got the memo. We all did. It's just that sometimes it takes a while to pick yourself off the ground, get your bearings, and find a mirror, so that you can read the memo.

That's the problem with delivering memos via boot-heel stomped into our faces.

Brilliant!

You should copyright some of this stuff. Man, you have talent!

"Again, we're talking about a few million dollars here. Nothing, in government terms."

Nothing? Then how about you fork over the few million if you think it's such a small sum.

Sorry. I've been in the ring a while, and I'm a little tired of conversing with people who seem to enjoy typing stuff like "P*** Christ" and have disparaging names for Karl Rove, despite the fact that they have no idea how much he has to do with decisions they don't like.

1. You don't like me TYPING "Piss Christ"?
Gee. I don't like your boy PAYING for "Piss Christ" -- with MY money!

2. Karl Rove? Screw Karl Rove.

I just don't need it.

You don't need it? Then don't read it. God didn't put me on this plant to meet your needs, Princess. Grow up.

Stick your finger in someone else's chest, k? TIA.

Physician, heal thyself. Ya welcome.

My main point is that there are some people frequenting FR whose goal it is to defeat Pres. Bush. From what I've read of Jim Robinson's convictions, he and this internet site support the re-election of Bush as the best way to defeat the leftists. Talk about logic, there's some right there. All I'm suggesting is that with this being the objective of this site, that the Moderators start scrutinizing the negative posts better, and weed out some who are here to disrupt, and nothing more. If you are not a disruptor, you would have nothing to fear. If you are a disruptor, you would have much to fear, and logically so.

Is that a threat? Are you trying to intimidate me?

It's not working.

Lay off the partisan purity routine, OK? Last time I read the mission statement for this site, it said it was a CONSERVATIVE forum.

I am a conservative.

Bushie is not a conservative.

More logic for ya.

Just WHAT does THAT mean and WHO the hell do you think YOU are?

I don't know who he thinks he is, but from where I'm sitting, he comes off like some smirky little brownshirt, reminiscent of the Saudi "religious police" who locked those schoolgirls into that burning building to die, because they weren't allowed to exit without headscarves.

LOL Come to think of it, some guys around here only seem to pick fights with women. The men are too much for them, apparently (and most of the women are too, in the end).
