I don't want to even think about it!

When I used to compete in USPSA, for a while I used my Taurus PT-92 9mm pistol. When I had that in my Ernie Hill Speed Leather holster (a damn heavy rig to begin with), fully loaded, along with 4 x 17 round magazines on the belt (85 rounds total!), it was all I could do to keep my pants from falling down around my ankles!

FWIW, I was trying to see what the shipping weight of 1000 rounds of 9mm would weigh... My Internet connection is too flakey. But I'm sure that it's more than 50 pounds... Heck, with 124 gr bullets, just the bullets themselves would weigh about 31 pounds. And that's without the cases, primers and powder.
