I trust the majority in the long run. They often get it wrong, but not usually for long. In anycase, they get what they deserve in the end.
IMO they are smarter than you.
You insult a whole lot of people, I guess that's what smart people do.

there isn't alot of margin for error anymore. the next time they "get it wrong", we could end up with nuclear devices going off in a couple of major US cities, instead of crashed airliners and downed buildings and 3000 dead. when that happens, there won't be much of a "in the long run" left to get it right again.
this country is at the tipping point right now, and I don't want the people deciding the fate for all of us to be "educated" by the new york times, CBS, NBC, ABC and CNN.
