You make a good point, Delphinium. No one is claiming that Bush is the "perfect" conservative. Frankly, I don't expect perfection this side of heaven. All we're saying is that, on balance, GW Bush has done a good job on some issues, and on others he's been great -- and that, overall, his performance as listed on this post outweigh the one or two or three things the naysayers continue to harp on.

Who would the naysayers rather have?

If conservatives were to split and go separate ways from our voting block we would lose more than the presidency. It has taken years to become taken seriously as it is.
