Do you see anyway we can stop this since the political momentum on this is generated by both parties at this point even though the public would love to see immigration halted and the borders shut? As much as I am proBush, I cannot fathom his shortsightedness due to the upcoming election...do you think he intends to make a reversal once re-elected? Do you think he's holding out until a martial law situation arises to avoid the mudslinging and to milk the immigrant vote?(it's scary to think the immigrant vote carries that much weight.) It's as if there is political schizophrenia in the Republican party on this issue.
