I was thinking about the same thing. There has a been a mention that the media would be notified an hour in advance so that they could cover the destruction, however there won't be anyone to see the transmission. I assume one nuke hit in NYC would disable the power grid pretty much throughout the Northeast. I think pretty much the only news we'll be hearing is from the radio...If they hit other cities as well, then we can kiss the media goodbye since all of the electrical grid will be down....and down for weeks or months.
