I've been following this story since last night around 10pm but had decided after the Super Bowl that I wouldn't try to read every post of this thread anymore as I've been doing for quite some time. Now that something interesting has happened I'm coming back here for more info. I've skimmed the thread & read the news so I know basically what's going on, but have there been any interesting theories or comments about this specific case of ricin in the Senate?

Well, I have to tell you guys what my husband did this morning. I pushed Snooze on the alarm so he woke me up and said "Quick - while you were sleeping the US was split into three pieces."

Well that woke me up. I fumbled for the TV remote and headed for the computer, and of course didn't find anything of the sort. I asked him to explain. He pointed to a map and said "See, there's the US, there's Alaska, there's Hawaii. The US is in 3 pieces."

Needless to say he got to cook his own breakfast. I was NOT amused :(

1) The strike
2) The type of strike
3) aims of the strike
4) How can it be preducted hours or days before it happnes


1) The Stike against the u.s at the american soil is a fact :
a) Official AQ spokesmen and seniour members stated it will happen (+++)
b) At both AlZawahri and Bin Laden recent audio messagies they urged indirectly Muslims to prepare for the "after" america period .(+++)
c) At those same statments they urged to prepare for an american possible strike back specialy at syria and parts from saudia ( while tribes area at pakistan/afganistan areas are already prepared )(+++)
d) Aq members who suppose to " pull the triggers " are already inside america (+++), the incident that happened at June proves that , also BL stated that .
e) Negotiations between AQ and u.s gov started back at dec (+) ( I had no reliable news to prove that )
f) The general enormous "self convinced " accent that can be easily found in all the Jihad leaders around the globe .(+++)
g) AQ invested ALL its efforts in it and can not afford to fail as there would be no other try ! (+)
h) Its date : NO DOUBT that AQ is missleading all the trackers in a very remarkable way !
g) The worryes about international air flights are meanless (+++)

2) Type of strike :
a) It will take a frame of waves , at least Two waves ( +++) but most likely to have a frame of four waves (++)
b) Planned as waves to prevent u.s to strike the mid east back and to set demands after the first wave .(+++)
c) sep11 attacks would be a childs play if compaired of this expected strike (+++)
d) Massive attacks against the u.s forces at Iraq and afganistan would take place the day america gets attacked .(++)
e) The strike plannings started at 1999 (++)
f) My presonal opinion it will not be a nuke (+) as how can AQ obtain it without getting help from countryes ?
g) Targets : AQ stated that it will be cityes like NY , washington ..etc but in my presonal opinion i think that statment of AQ who mentioned those cityes aimed to misslead u .(+)
h) Targets that may paralyse ur country economicly , power , comunications , control ..etc (+)
i) Strike built in a way to be devestating , i mean not a strike followed by future strikes to complete the jop that was started (+++)

If at all true, quite disturbing.

I do believe they have been planning this for years though.

No, they are different chemicals, you can make napthenic acid from naptha, but naptha and gasoline don't gel when mixed.

LOL! My husband has been getting onto me for spending so much time on this thread, scaring myself. Last night around 10pm as I read the article about ricin in HIS office building he said, "Well you were right, something did happen on Groundhog Day." Then this morning he congratulated me for not saying "I told you so."

The only significant new development is the fact that it has actually been confirmed to be ricin. The test findings had been inconclusive until the Frist statement came out a short while ago.

Well, guess what. We have to watch the planes because we know for a fact that al-Qaeda is attempting to come at us again with commercial and cargo aircraft. This is an established fact. It is part of their overall strategic plan in the declared Jihad against the US, which also includes but is not limited to biological and nuclear weapons.

They have been thwarted in several attempts. We will know in about 36 hours about the rest of our defensive efforts.
