I don't know. My first thought was that the moderator has been urged by the Feds to pull EOM ASAP, out of fear that he'e trying to send last minute messages to the Jahidists, and by pulling the messages before they are read, perhaps the plan will be disrupted.

BTW, a mail bomb slightly injured a man in Washington, Kansas.

I'm unable to copy the article, but the local sheriff assured the public that this wasn't a terrorist crime.

So, I guess it's just your typical mail bomb that we see everyday.

Unfortunately, I think you are right (that it will be our way of life for the forseeable future).

It makes me mad, quite frankly. STRONG leaders (sorry, I don't consider W to be AS STRONG as he needs to be - just witness the debacle re: illegal immigration) are needed - and there are none to be found. At least, none that either major party will nominate - there are just too many competing interests to have a true Patriot and Leader in the WH.

I will of course vote for George, as the alternatives are WAY worse. But, we need a leader of EPIC strength right now - not one who plays politics with the nation's security.

If I were Prez, the FIRST thing I would do is arrest & export the illegals. Secondly, I'd militarize the border, as O'Reilly has suggested numerous times - with orders to shoot to kill anyone who tries to sneak across. WHY is this so hard? Simple..it's not - but the politics make it undoable. In the meantime, we have to live in a damn near police state (just look at the security around the Superbowl. WHAT happened to the country I love - with FREEDOM?)

Lastly, I DO believe we are under huge threat. Quite possibly, something WILL happen - and soon. But I do not think that "EOM" is going to announce it.

GI Killed As Army Base Attacked in Iraq

TIKRIT, Iraq - An American soldier was killed and 12 wounded in a rocket attack Sunday on an Army base in central Iraq, the U.S. military said.

The rocket landed inside a logistics support base of the 4th Infantry Division in Balad, 50 miles south of the division's headquarters in Tikrit, an Army statement said.

It said two of the injured soldiers were in serious condition. After the attack, troops detained 16 people including four women for questioning, the statement said.

Tikrit, the hometown of Saddam Hussein, is part of the Sunni Triangle, where most of the anti-U.S. insurgency has taken place.

The death raised to 523 the number of U.S. soldiers killed in the conflict in Iraq.

That's interesting, they could have pre-planted stuff months ahead of time for the big day. It worries me that this is not the first time I have heard that the alphabet people have not followed up on a citizens report of strange activity by *those that intend to do us harm.
