Logically, why would they attempt havoc on the same routes as before? Is this a diversion?

Well one flight was different, going to Miami and I'm sure there are flights we're not hearing about or this is a ruse to throw them off and they are keeping their eyes on domestic flights instead !

Heh heh...I'm too much of a news junkie. I got a small slightly used ~13" TV for my home office so I can stay plugged in while on the computer.

Are you implying that the USA is no different or better than the USSR ?
Perhaps "proxy" is too strong of a word for you.
How about this, the Russian KGB/FSB manipulates AQ operations through its control of Ayman al-Zawahiri.

The flight thing is not adding up.
If they are concerned about particular passengers, it "should" be easy enough to make sure they don't get on the planes.
I wondered at the holidays - and wonder the same thing now - if there isn't something more than passengers that is the threat.
Some of us kicked around the idea of something (suitcase nukes?) being in the planes themselves as cargo or hidden. Apparently, these only weigh about 40 lbs or so and wouldn't trip up the weight check of the planes any.
Gotta be something more than passengers, IMHO, since passengers are easy to stop, no?

Notice that the canceled flights are for Sunday and Monday, i.e. 1/2 Feb 2004. Do those dates ring a bell for anyone?

Will they carry out the answer of a criminal action with the use of weapons and atomic bombs against the one(s) Damn skippy we will!
do she can that she denies that there cooperating with the rule are Americans
So they are unsure if their leader has been captured!
And London - And there many probabilities we fail in her restriction here
They just did!
will paralysing the Americans corners
Comments? Then America has atomic bombs by hundreds and these are a matter not doubtful in him and certain and the atomic bombs at the Al-Qaeda a hypothetical . The destructive Alqdratha of the American bombs she is not compared with the portable Russian atomic bombs by the bags
Uh-Oh. Dissembled there, assembled here?

Well the French supposedly blew catching the passengers for us, so they may figure the French are really stupid (they are) but on the French I think they 'tipped' them because they help them, silly but IMO ;)

British Airways Cancels 3 U.S. Flights
LONDON - British Airways has canceled three flights from Heathrow Airport to Washington, D.C., and Miami because of security concerns, the airline said Saturday.
U.S. officials said Friday that new intelligence indicated Flight 223 and Air France flights from Paris to an unspecified U.S. city could be terrorist targets.
{{{Flight 223}}}to Wash. Dulles airport will not fly on Sunday or Monday, but is to depart on schedule at 3:05 p.m. local time Saturday, said an airline spokeswoman. {{{Fl 207}}} to Miami won't fly Sunday, she said, but had departed Saturday morning.
The spokeswoman, who declined to be identified, said BA had canceled the flights on the advice of the British government. She cited security fears but gave no further details.
"The safety and security of our operations is our absolute priority and will not be compromised," the airline said.
BA's Flight 223 had been the subject of concern early in January, when it was canceled twice because of security fears and then delayed for hours several more times.
A British Department for Transport spokesman said the decision to cancel the flights was made "in the light of information received."
"Aviation security measures are adjusted from time to time, and occasional cancellations may be necessary," he said on condition of anonymity. "The first priority is always the safety of the traveling public."

By the way...
The Call19 countdown clock expires at midnight 3/4 February 2004.
Think about the countdown clock in terms of the movie "Independence Day", the one Jeff Goldblums character discovers. "Time's up". That's the message they are sending us.

They still are unsure if they will raise the level which differs from yesterday when they said they would not
