I don't agree with your post being pulled. Those weren't your words and it was from an accepted source, Haartz. I disagree with a lot of the inconsistancy that is shown with posts that get pulled. I do wish you would reconsider taking a break at this time though. We could use all the eyes, ears and searches available.

Then, when this is all over, threat wise, we can redirect post pull complaints to the Mods.

Yes, I totally agree with you. That alone is worth keeping track of all that is happening or may happen. Because then maybe we can try to stick close to home and be with the ones we love. Even though we cannot always predict when an event may happen necessarily, being more aware certainly can help in planning.

When was the last nuke test that we know of occur?...because these pictures do not look like the film quality of 50's or 60's film

Ansel Adams.

A lot of inexpensive film from that time period that was casually stored has not been well preserverd but that's because the shelf life for the inexpensive film from that era was not as good as more recent film. You could still make top-quality photos however - it was just more expensive than it would be today. If those were made by the weapons program in the US Government they'd have access to the best technology availble.

Update on OBL capture, the almost immediate US State Department denial, and my re-assessment as to why US State was involved.

In the current update at www.homelandsecurityus.com I wrote:

"I think there is a valid and logical reason for a State Department denial of the Osama capture reports. I think State spoke up because they are in active negotiations with Iran over this issue, either via a second party's "good offices" or directly with the Iranians. This has the potential to make such contact an absolute necessity. The US State Department would have to become involved due to PROTOCOL if Osama were in fact captured on Iranian territory."

Well, I believe the Iranians themselves have informed us whose "good offices" the US State Department used - the Italian Foreign Ministry.

Read the following carefully, pay attention to "detail".

Frattini inform Powell on Iran talks

11:11:56 Þ.Ù
Rome, Jan 29 - Right after leaving Iran, Italy's Minister of Foreign Affairs Franco Frattini on Wednesday informed in detail the US Secretary of State Colin Powell on phone of his Tuesday talks with Iranian officials.

Italy's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, issuing a communique on Wednesday, announced, "Minister of Foreign Affairs Franco Frattini in his Wednesday phone talks with the US Secretary Colin Powell, informed him of Italy's stand on the need to cooperate with Iran in international campaign against terrorism, narcotic drugs trafficking, assistance in reconstruction of Iraq, and power transfer in that country."

However, the communique also bears some comments on the stand taken by Iran regarding the current international affairs, saying "Tehran, aware of the international community's concerns regarding issues such as weapons of mass destruction (WMDs), human rights, and terrorism, has announced its full readiness to cooperate with the west in those fields."

The communique voices a meddling hope for a free and fair parliamentary elections to be held in Iran, a country already witness to dozens of free and fair elections.

If that Bayside prophecy site indeed is run by Muslims it is no surprise that these links would do the same.

The swastika is an ancient symbol. Dating back 3,000 years, the swastika predates the ancient Egyptian symbol, the Ankh . Approximately 3,000 years ago (1000 BCE), the swastika was commonly used; swastikas have been found on many artifacts such as pottery and coins dating from ancient Troy.

During the following thousand years, the image of the swastika could be found in many cultures around the world, including in China, Japan, India, and southern Europe.

By the Middle Ages, the swastika was a well known, if not commonly used, symbol but was called by many different names:

China - wan
England - fylfot
Germany - Hakenkreuz
Greece - tetraskelion and gammadion
India - swastika

Though it is not known for exactly how long, Native Americans also had long used the symbol of the swastika.

The Original Meaning

The word "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit svastika - "su" meaning "good," "asti" meaning "to be," and "ka" as a suffix.

Until the Nazis used this symbol, the swastika was used by many cultures throughout the past 3,000 years to represent life, sun, power, strength, and good luck.

Even in the early twentieth century, the swastika was still a symbol with positive connotations. For instance, the swastika was a common decoration that often adorned cigarette cases, postcards, coins, and buildings. During World War I, the swastika could even be found on the shoulder patches of the American 45th Division and on the Finnish air force until after World War II.

Change in Meaning

In the 1800s, countries around Germany were growing much larger, forming empires; yet Germany was not a unified country until 1871. To counter the feeling of vulnerability and the stigma of youth, German nationalists in the mid-nineteenth century began to use the swastika, because it had ancient Aryan/Indian origins, to represent a long Germanic/Aryan history.

By the end of the nineteenth century, the swastika could be found on nationalist German volkisch periodicals and was the official emblem of the German Gymnasts' League.

In the beginning of the twentieth century, the swastika was a common symbol of German nationalism and could be found in a multitude of places such as the emblem for the Wandervogel, a German youth movement; on Jörg Lanz von Liebenfels' antisemitic periodical Ostara; on various Freikorps units; and as an emblem of the Thule Society.

Hitler and the Nazis

In 1920, Adolf Hitler decided that the Nazi Party needed its own insignia and flag. For Hitler, the new flag had to be "a symbol of our own struggle" as well as "highly effective as a poster." (Mein Kampf, pg. 495)

On August 7, 1920, at the Salzburg Congress, this flag became the official emblem of the Nazi Party.

In Mein Kampf, Hitler described the Nazis' new flag: "In red we see the social idea of the movement, in white the nationalistic idea, in the swastika the mission of the struggle for the victory of the Aryan man, and, by the same token, the victory of the idea of creative work, which as such always has been and always will be anti-Semitic." (pg. 496-497)

Because of the Nazis' flag, the swastika soon became a symbol of hate, antisemitism, violence, death, and murder.

I thought Hitler designed the swastica?

Hitler (mis-)appropriated a lot of pre-existing symbols for his Aryan mythology garbage. The swastica is simply the most well-known. If you look around at some of the Indian art (from India that is, not the native American) you'll see lots of swasticas.

Nope. The Swastika was used by Indian cultures as a good luck symbol for millennia.

Strangely the Indian cultures I refer to are both Asian Indians and American Indians.

Even more curious, the Hopi used both the Rising Sun, and the Swastika as good luck symbols. Ancient Hopi lore holds that both these symbols would be used for evil at the beginning of the end times...

Well the image I was referring to doesn't seem to be there anymore. I think a direct link might have been posted but as of last night around 11 Eastern there wasn't a translation. It was all Arabic writing surrounded by a frame of dripping red stuff which I can only assume is supposed to represent blood since I doubt it's a recipe for a red velvet cake. The word "Genocide" was in there somewhere.
