Prayer Request for Freeper's Son

I just got the news that my precious son's (age 4) blood tests are back. He has Alpha 1 and the numbers on his liver enzymes are shooting up again.

His alkalines have almost doubles, as have ALT and AST. In short, it's not real good. Our wonderful doctor wants to check again in 3 months, but thinks we'll be headed back to Vandy for more aggressive treatment.

Please pray for his health & healing if it is God's will. Also, please pray for us as we cope. I will most certainly give God the glory and ya'll my heartfelt thanks.

I'm going to have a bit of a cry now. He begged to go to Granny's for a few hours and I just couldn't say no.

There's a twist to this...I know they're doing research and we will do EVERYTHING possible to save our precious boy. HOWEVER a lot of the technology is coming from stem cell research. Especially what I'm hearing about Gene Replacement Therapy. We are ardently pro-life, and will not use technology that has benefitted from another child's willful murder. (Yes, we are okay with transplantation due to accident, etc.)

This one is truly in God's hands. . . . really where it ought to be.
