This still does not make him fit nor competent to be president but he does deserve our respect for his service and duty to country.

According to the link in the first post, he aligned himself with the VVAW group that Jane Fonda helped to financed.

By throwing his medals away and closely aligning himself with Jane Fonda, I think he disrespected his own service to this country and that of other veterans, so he does not deserve my respect.

Kerry did his duty and served in Vietnam. We should give him that respect. Even a minor shrapnel wound in the right place can be fatal.

It is his post Vietnam behavior in the Vets against the war and in his government jobs that he is vulnerable. He is a big time left leaning liberal and would do the same as President.

I cannot believe John Kerry period. Yes, I heard of some cheap purple hearts, but, not in SF, any Infantry unit or the Marine Corps.

Where are John Kerry's medical records? I got hit with two bullets that looked like four wounds to my fellow SF friends. Yes, I have my medical records, and; the doctors state the exact muscle or muscles that each bullet entered and exited, plus whether the bone was shattered/fractured,and the exact type of fracture. The medical records further had to state artery or nerve damage- "yes or no" in each wound.

John Kerry needs to have a Navy Corpsmen, or any medic or MD come foreward to state the facts that he/she treated him, describe each wound, and; if he cannot produce his military medical records or the evidence, I believe he is a liar.

A couple of days of duty lost from any wound would require an MD's signature, not any medic or corpsmen, unless his CO knew the man who treated him. Kerry was an officer. He needed a medical officer to sign anything stating he was not fit medically for duty for two days, or at least medical evidence his CO saw, which would have prompted a change in his personnel status for duty.

John Kerry is on all sides of every issue. He is a lot like a few officers we all saw, who were out for medals. The NCO's and EM knew who these officers were, and; they avoided them like the plaque.

John Kerry really took care of his men. I see about three Navy Commendation Medals for his men. What a puke.
