Approximately 1/3 of all visible minorities in the Twin Cities are Hmong, and they're among the most hardworking and determined people you'll ever meet. Like the Romany in Europe, they've been persecuted no matter where they've gone, but yet they've preservered. I say bring them all here

In full disclosure, I must also confess that I find Hmong women to be soooooo gorgeous :-)

Anybody who can tolerate raising chickens has my respect! Notice how often the article mentions the smell - well, you can't mention it too often, because it really is nauseating. I had friends who ran a chicken ranch in Upstate New York and it was grueling, disgusting work, in my mind. I never liked to pass through the barns, let alone stay in them and work.
