President George W. Bush blew it Tuesday night. He delivered a State of the Union address that downplayed his most promising - and potentially revolutionary - domestic-policy initiatives. Earlier drafts had reportedly contained a lengthy exposition of his vision of an "ownership society," expanded and strengthened by tax changes and Social Security reform.

So which Democrat do you think would be best? This is an important question, since you may well get one. Just asking.

"Those guys would support Joe Stalin if he had an R after his name. No principles and no values -- just mindless blind party loyalty crap.

Richard W."

to compare the current President of the United State to Stalin is absurd. It shows what a crack pot you really are Richard.

No I don't believe in open borders.

Gen.Myers restated our pledge to protect Taiwan from coersion or military action when he visited China. You know we are busy now and don't want Taiwan to drag us into a war with China.

I thought the farm bill was way over the line.

I am not ready to go to war with SA until I'm ready to put my car up on blocks.I am aware that SA is still donating money, although some improvements have made. They have had to step up hunting terrorists because they are getting hit.I am worried about the spread of Wahhabi Islam.

I am neutral on spam because I am not a victim often enough. Some are flooded.

How's it going tonight, Over the last month I've been on here and I've had many agreements with you with just a couple of disagreements but I have enjoyed your take on many of the days issues.

I noticed in your post below you refering to a DU. I was accused of that earlier today. After asking the poster what it was and what he meant by it, someone else had a witty comeback that it's "kinda like a penis but smaller". Cute, but really didn't answer what I asked. "Gillmeister", the original poster, was unfortunatley never to be heard from again in the thread so my question went unanswered. Even though I thought Gil, who's perky little "handle" (one I thought went out in the late 80's with the copy machine guy skit on SNL) didn't feel like owning up, I thought I might get a straight answer from you.

I'm hoping you don't give me the "penis" line....

""More liberal than President Bush?""

Thus proof that some on the far right arent capable of rational thought.

I just made it clear that I am either voting Constitutional party or doing a write in of Ron Paul. Let the chips fall where they may.

One of the things that splits my sides is the spectacle of conservatives threatening to vote for this or that member of the Constitution Party or those asshats in the Libertarian ("There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Joint") Party.

You folks will never understand that you cannot enforce your principles on anybody. You cannot elect a President who will do what you want. Presidents do what the public wants or they are not reelected.

Period.

You're blaming George W. Bush when all he is doing is giving the American people most of what they want, and some of what they don't. Now all of us know that free pills for Granny is fiscally irresponsible. But you'll notice that there's been no national uprising against free pills for Granny? That's because the American people want the program attached to Mediscare. They just lie to pollsters when they say that they don't like it, because the politically correct thing to do is to be horrified about deficits and spending.

If you want to remove the drug benefit, if you want to return American firearms regulations to the Original Intent of the Second Amendment, if you want the Patriot Act repealed, if you want the Mexicans dragged out from under the Bed and bussed back over the border, then you by God had better convince a decisive majority of the American people that those things are the right things to do!

Otherwise, please stop wasting people's time by threatening to vote for the Constitution Party's Black Helicopter nominee, whose only achievement in life will be to take votes away from George W. Bush. I would mention the Losertarians, but they're too jacked up on the Montana Mindf*#k that they grew in the backyard to get through Francisco D'Anconia's speech on Money in their dog-eared copies of Atlas Shrugged.

Please God, stop this fringe-party madness before the Domo-kun takes yet another hostage!

Be Seeing You,

Chris

You are trying to twist my words for your own biased purposes. I was making a comment about mindless party loyalty at the expense of personal principles and values. You want an example of crack pots, just reread what the party loyalists have been saying.

I don't know if 91% of Republicans think we are going in the right direction of if we just have no place else to go. If there were a viable 3rd party candidate, one a little more conservative than our current batch of Republican leaders, I would vote for him. But there is not and I'm not going to willingly turn the Presidency over to the Demacrats.

So, in effect, you are going to cast a non-vote, which is effectively a vote for the Democrats when the nation is at peril? So, you're tired of the lesser-of-two evils argument, so you are going to allow that the not-Conservative-at-all party win? Wow!

"But there is not and I'm not going to willingly turn the Presidency over to the Demacrats."

That would be exactly what you would be doing!

If you think for a second some momo from a third party would any chance in hell of actually getting elected you're already half off the deep end. Taking votes away from your candidate because you're pissy about 1 or 2 issues is moronic.
