My friend, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I too was in the Pacific theater of operations in WWII, but I am in good shape,(at least for a 79 year old former MARINE.) I have friends that are in simular condidtons as your father, and I can certain feel for you and your family. Your father will be in my prayers until we hear that he is well again, as I know that he will be. I will tell GrandmaC tonight and I know that she will also have him in her prayers too. Keep the faith my friend and Semper Fi.

Many of you know of my father. He is a combat vet of World War II of the Pacific Theater of Operations (PTO). Fomr time to time I have posted his articles have here on FR in the past and there have been several prayer threads for him due to his heart conditions, where the faith of others on his behalf, coupled with his own faith and the will of a loving Heavenly Father and the mercy of His son Jesus Christ, have worked miraculously on his behalf.

Now, he has suffered another heart attack...his kidneys are failing...his lungs are filling with fluid and fluid is collecting around his heart.

I was just called in the last hour by two of my brothers indicating I need to come immediately...that he may not survive the night.

So, myself and my family (wife and two boys at home) are heading down there now.

We cry out to You in the Name of Jesus on behalf of Jeff Head and his family. His father, mother, and brother have suffered tremendously and we know, Lord, that this is not Your will. Your Son, Jesus, bore their sins and diseases on the cross, and we confess, Father, that Your desire is that they prosper and walk in health, even as their souls prosper. Grant renewed strength to this family in their time of need, Lord. Visit them in a mighty way. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
