I'm not quite sure what to make of this one.

It was very cute. President Bush picked her up as he came in.

Maybe she WILL grow up to be a Republican. Such things are known to happen.

It does sound very cute! Are there any photos out there of the interaction? I missed the address on TV.

I had the opportunity to meet Jesse and his wife in Korea a few years back. He's nothing like his dad, in my opinion. I enjoyed talking with him.

On a more serious note, Jackson said he is well aware of the glass ceiling that prevents many women from rising beyond a certain point in their careers. Yeah, Condoleezza Rice and Oprah Winfrey have each banged their heads on that old glass ceiling.

Did you see her sleeping on her dad there at the end?
MY GOODNESS!!!
She was a little DOLL!
And VERY well behaved throughout (as far as I could see).
My 4 year old...(a boy though) would have made it all the way until the people SAT DOWN...and then he would want to know if we were almost done! Unless of course someone were to have let him engage in a rousing game of "shoot the bad guy, with your gun finger"...they he could have stayed all night! (I am sure the secret service would have LOVED all of the "cute" shooting noises)..
Sheesh.. No differences between boys and girls...NOPE none at all.
She was cute though!

I have to disagree with you there - although Junior acts more polite and agreeable, politically, the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

She applauded every time the president talked about his tax cuts," Jackson laughed. "I think she may be a Republican."
Hahahahaha!
Can you imagine Jesse Jackson reading this....

P.S. - my brother lives in Junior's congressional district and they've really been screwed over the years: Gus Savage, Mel Reynolds, and now Junior Jesse.

I thought it was cute. Here's hoping that the apple falls a little further from the tree...

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

It's all very simple, she and her illegitimate aunt are about the same age.

Was it possible that Jessica had been exposed to some exaggerated descriptions and out of curiosity had asked to see the president's horns and tail for herself? "Not at all," Jackson said. "In fact, she has never heard me express my opinions of the president at home.
"Unlike some people in politics, I keep my professional and private lives very separate.
"I never take political disagreements personally."
I'm glad to hear that (at least so far) he's not politically indoctrinating/corrupting his daughter.
"She applauded every time the president talked about his tax cuts," Jackson laughed.
"I think she may be a Republican."
Could very well happen that she turns out Republican. It often happens that the most conservative parents have liberal children (my biggest fear with my daughter) and the most whacked-out liberal parents have very conservative children......

I love this story, and Jessica is a doll! Her dad sounds like he has a good sense of humor, too!
