*** Breaking at CPAC *** ( / Drudge...)
Credible rumor here has it that a staffer involved in the release of the Senate Judiciary Committee memos implicating the Committee Democrats in fixing court cases will be fired shortly. The whistleblower involved broke no laws, committed no ethics violations and exposed genuine wrongdoing on the part of the Democrats, but Republican Powers That Be in the Senate find his dismissal politically convenient...
Cynics here find this to be typical: Dems commit an egregious violation, some gutsy Republican staffer exposes it, the media gets outraged over the exposer rather than the violation, and the Republican leadership pitches somebody down the air shaft to placate their howling opposition.
It's worth noting that whistleblower laws don't protect Congressional staffers. How conveeeenient.

Did anyone find out the name of the person involved?
