Shows almost a continuous string up to Yellowstone through the Las Vegas area.
There's not a straight continuous connection that I've found yet direct from Northern CA to Yellowstone.

As I look at the map . . . am I imagining, reading too much into it . . . or . . . is there really . . .
Well, look at the kink, the bulge pointing down & to the left at the 40th parallel right off the coast in the string of quakes.
Then, look up at the cluster at the bend in Idaho and those around and above Yellowstone. It SEEMS LIKE there's a SIMILARITY in the say mean line with a similar shaped kink pointing roughly in the same direction.
Is that true?
Therefore what, I haven't the foggiest. But it's interesting. I have no idea what the tectonic plates underneath those respective areas look like.
