If you lived above Yellowstone I would have suggested running. Are there any volcanos nearby?

Any idea of how much of a temp increase?

Anyone else have water turning hot? This is really weird! Only when I push the handle to the left. Geothermal stuff?

Define "hot" in detail. What temp? Does it smell differently?

Is it happening to any of your neighbors?
Any chance that it is just the pump overheating?

I live in the Sierras about 100 miles north of Sacramento. The water from my well has turned hotCheck with your neighbors.
If their wells are normal, develop a spa on your land and run a bath for Hoss.

Build a bomb and throw it into the well. I think that worked on Gilligan's Island.

Up around Quincy, are you? Sounds like some geothermal action, probably a rising magma or a crosslink with some geothermal water source.
Dangerous? I couldn't say, but sudden changes in well-water temperature are a matter of some concern. Any small earthquakes around there recently?
