As important as it was to dismantle Al Qaida, there are other threats that are far more important. North Korea, in particular, but also Iran, Pakistan and Syria, are ready to lead the world down a very grim path.
That we have avoided these dangers so far is irrelevant. We're only a few feet into the minefield, so to speak, so its far too early to start our victory dance. Dealing with proliferation is more important than stopping Islamic terror, and I don't trust the Democrats to seriously handle either.
