Ah, you and I had the same thought. I did not turn on the computer until the last of the applause died down.
No way was I going to watch the haters either. Just reading the reports from Freepers.
The speech was wonderful.....every last minute of it. The man makes me so proud!

I watched it start-to-Nancy Pelosi then darn near threw the speaker across the room. I was holding it next to the phone to allow someone without access to American TV to listen. G-d Bless President Bush and America. Have rarely been prouder.

That makes 3 of us not freeping but soaking up every word and expression. I was hoping for lightning to strike the left siders. 'Hope they go home tonight and weep. They KNOW that George W. Bush is a great President who has achieved more than anyone...including Republicans...could ever have imagined, but they'll never, never, never acknowledge it. A plague on them all (except Zell Miller).
