Awards for the Disturbingly-Ugly-Democrat-Face of the Night:

1) Ted .... must you brush your bulging jowls and subtlely shake your head "no no no" when our President talks about "No Child Left Behind?" Honestly .. remember your breeding?

2) Hillary .... your smile, when you realize you're on camera, is the smile of a drugged snake .. that is, when you're not looking frumpily grouchy and cynical

3) Charlie ... next time you decide to meditate on your tie, remember .. you have to lift your head up from time to time before you fade into unconsciousness and start drooling

Not sure I've ever seen such failure to rise to applause as a group as the Demos did tonight when the Pubbies gave standing O's.

And y'all ... remember to go out there and be the light and NOT the missile GIMMEABREAK!!!

Dubyah was strong and firm and multi-topical .. I loved the "no permission slip" comment. Go gittem' GW!!!

"We were thrilled with the speech.

High fives from this house, also.Fred just said that Nancy and Tommy " did all right." We were LOL during their Halliburton and tax cuts are the cause of all evil.

"What is Fred's problem. We were thrilled with the speech."

I hate to point this out, but Fred works for the Weakly Standard as does Bill Kristol. I've found Kristol really lacking as an commentator for the last three years. Apparentely, Fred's jumped on Billy's bandwagon. I'm sorry to see this from Fred.

For some people lying and breathing are equally natural and about equally often.

being from South Dakota, I can honestly tell you that he could not have been seen walking the streets- but I have heard that he was seen jumping up and down trying to see all the flavors available at the Baskins Robbins.

Even got Dan Rather to say "excellent speech and delivery" afterward

Did he REALLY say that? Wow!

The worst part of Dubya's speech blows these two multimillionaire liberals who say they feel our pain. Has Tom Daschle or Nancy Pelosi been to see our injured soldiers at Walter Reed? Have either of them two dip-shits ever been in a position where a $1500.00 tax cut makes a huge difference in their lives? HELL NO! These two cheese eating surrender monkeys have no idea what it means to scratch and crawl for a living. Did I forget to mention that both of them are homelier than a Mud Fence?

Saw the address. What a contrast between tonight's speech by G.W. Bush and last night's pathetic display by presidential wannabe Howard Dean.

The shots of Ted Kennedy's ugly mug were revolting. During Bush's speech, the cameras kept panning to Kennedy who was constantly shaking his head and grimacing as he wiped his brow. What a classless act. He looks like he put on 50 more pounds since last time I saw him. And if Ted Kennedy is so against the war in Iraq, then why was he in Iowa last night shilling for John Kerry - who also supported the war in Iraq?

BTW, Teddy Kennedy is fortunate that Howard Dean's burnout stole the spotlight. Otherwise, it would have been Teddy's drunken and incoherent introduction of John Kerry that would have been the laughingstock of the nation today.

LOL, I've got a laptop wired to 30 feet of phone cable :)

Long, long cable wires seem to be popular with FReepers! lol

I'll take all suggestions, though. Thanks! :-)

Actually, Olbermann seems to me to be a pretty equal-opportunity zinger when it comes to newsmakers. He's been equally condescending and snippy to the Democrats to. He even did a little riff on Dean's meltdown speech. And please name one news anchor/host that's not in love with his own voice--LOl!

Nearly $600 increase in tuition costs?

GOOD LORD!

He's quibbling. Dasshole left the wrong impression - not each semester. It's over 4 years in school, which is 125 dollars per year.
